Gents,

Working on Dragon's 2cm Flak 38 Late (6546), and I am stumped on a few options.

Does anyone have any information on these options?

I was gonna order the Nuts and Bolts on the FLAK38, but its so expensive right now.

I'm liking the looks of J2, I think the details look nice.

I'm just curious on their actual functions.

Cheers

I think it all depends upon when the gun was manufactured.
Any of them are good, just use which one you like.

Those "J2...+ " parts are the charging rod cover and charging (cocking) handle. The different parts represent different production-runs and ages of the FlaK38. There were two stamped rear-handle metal covers in use, with, IIRC, the more-detailed J2 part being the earlier version seen more on -38 in 1940-41, and the smooth tubular one being the mid-war model. I THINK that later-war guns were provided with the top-handle (handle forward) type???

In many vehicle applications, any of these is probably reasonably "legit".

Cheers! Bob
