As these are conversions the number made up might only amount to a few or few dozen and they were probably kept mainly in service for internal and anti-partisan units. Guess I'll have to go see what I can dig up on numbers, etc and get back to all of you.

Apparently 178 of these were built but originally they carried a 4.7cm gun. They did not do well at all; many were destroyed in their initial fights. The gun, ammo, and extra crewman was too much for the vehicle to handle (It seems the R35 wasn't great to start with; the Germans preferred the H39 tanks) and they dropped them down to the 3.7cm to decrease the load on the engines. In winter conditions most would not start and if they did could barely move the vehicle. Of the 800 or so captured, most became tow trucks, ammo carriers, or mobile cranes.
