I'm building the Tamiya JS-2 and it seems like a nice kit so far. I've seen walkarounds to help me with detailing, but one problem. None show the bottom areas on the hull around the front and rear armor plates. This is a problem because there are gaps that I am uncertain how they are supposed to be filled. All the way up, or below the surface?

I asked for information about the front of the IS-2. Kurt put up a picture of a hull found in this thread:

That should help with the front of the hull. At the rear I didn't find anything either, but what I did see in the few walk arounds was the construction was rather crude.

Interesting pictures, but I meant the bottom as concealed by the running gear and on the bottom surface. That's where the walkarounds I saw did not help.

You could try Googling in Russian, using Google translate.
Also try a search with Duckduckgo or Yandex.

Front and rear bottom and sides, where you cannot see during the walkarounds because the wheels and tracks cover those areas up. I'm uncertain what is supposed to be together or have a welded gap or whatever.
