I'm thinking about doing an Iranian tank for my first cold war build. Looking at the Takom instructions for the chieftain they recommend Sand Grey by MIG Ammo. Is that correct? I'd rather use Tamiya or GSI if folks have recommendations from one of those lines?

Or, if I do a T-55 captured from Iraq, Miniart recommends sand yellow with a bunch of different vendor equivalents for the sand color, and grey green for the overpaint. Do those colors sounds right?
