Hmm, I missed this news flash,
saw the kit in the 'incoming' section at my plastic pusher,
came back here to spread the good news and see tat it has already been around for over two weeks.
Must have been sleeping or too busy with work ....

The very old Tamiya Challengers (two kits) were both Challenger 1's (one desert version and one plain vanilla).
The Tamiya Challenger 2 from 2004 is the desert version (with rubber tracks) while the RFM kit has indy link and is "plain" Challenger 2 as follow up to their TES "Megatron" version.

Desertised with rubber tracks vs plain vanilla with indy-links.

There is also a few Challenger 2's from Trumpeter ....
