Planning on a IJA Type 95 from the Philippines campaign (42)Thinking about a M3 Stuart. The surviving US M3 Stuarts were pressed into IJA service with 7th Tank Regt. (Supposedly captured by 2nd Tank, turned over to 7th when the 2nd was sent to Java.) I've not found ant info on them being used in 44/45. Any thoughts? Also, I figure the painted over the US markings. IJA Kahki? Midori green? Where they repainted? I have seen 1 photo of about a half dozen lined up. (markings are 7th Tank). Closest looks to be two tone. Not sure if it's painted or just shadows. Again, if yes, what color? Last, would they have replaced the .30 cals with 7.7mms? (did the US ones have the cheek .30s? One photo I found in US service doesn't look like it. But a photo of a captured one seems to. …. a Japanese soldier looks like he's sitting on it.)
