Hello everyone

Just wanted to say hello. Iv'e recently dove down the rabbit hole of 1/35 armor. This year I have completed more 1/35 scale kits than in the last 20 years. This forum and site have been a great help.

A little about me. I'm an electrician that spent 12 years in the US Navy(7 active 5 as a reservist). Spent time on the Nimitz and Kitty Hawk Weapons departments. Worked on the SH-60B, SH-60F HH-60H, and briefly on the MH-60S

Attached are a couple of the build recently completed. Sorry for the quality, I used my cell phone.

Tamiya's M3 CFV. I built this OOB to focus on using acrylic paints and Vallejo washes and pigments.

The two Gun Trucks were fun builds
the green one was a rebuild with only DEF wheels and LiveResin weapons used
The tan one was a build that used several aftermarket kits and scratch built gun box and cab.

yes, the plan is to put all my modern gun trucks on a dio together. Right now I have a few small bases I put together just to work with ground materials. I was never a dio guy, but with armor the model just begs for a nice display base.
