Rather surprised that nobody has produced something like this (so far as I know) up till now.

Curious if this is a decal or self-adhesive film. Seems like selling this as a full sheet so it can be used on any vehicle would be a great idea.

There already is something very similar, and it costs nothing. (Assuming you weld)
Lenses for welding hoods come with a plastic protective film. Many are exactly the right color and they adhere very well to flat surfaces. Apply it to inside of window, trim with a no. 11 blade.

How about adding a drop of paint to the Future.
Aircraft modellers do that with tea for the canopy.

I have found food coloring works better than paint for that application, but getting the color and transparency just right takes a fair bit of trial and error. Not to mention the time and effort involved in getting a perfectly flat, consistent end result. This seems much quicker and easier.
