Confused again on these German Turret hatches. Please straighten me out.

Commanders hatch is spring loaded (2 coil springs) and to opens straight back

Loaders hatch raises up and rotates around to the rear

Are these hatches ever reversed on Leopard 2A6s?

The 2A6 is mostly just a 2A5 with a longer barrel. The commander's hatch is the one that goes up and rotates. It's the one on the right as you face forward. The loader's hatch is on springs.

Given that the hatch surrounds are part of the turret roof, the hatches cannot be swapped in any sensible way. You'd need to cut out chunks of roof and re-weld them, unlike say an M4 Sherman where the hatch sat in a separate ring that was bolted to the turret.

Okay, that makes sense to me, the loaders hatch wouldn't be able to swing around with the machinegun mounted on the rail. HobbyBoss 2A6M illustrations show the hatches reversed. Glad I hadn't glued them in place yet
