This hovercraft is kinda big, I have a couple of LAV's as a load.
But I'm a bit confused as to how big the beach should be.
Unfortunately the cushion doesn't deflate. So the theme would be "just landed".
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you
for any help Chris

Chris,

I actually have Trumpeter's 1/144-scale version of this kit ... still in its box, as I've been trying to work out how to depict the cushion deflated. I recently came across an example of just that. The pre-formed cushion was replaced with sections of paper handkerchief, moulded to shape using diluted PVA white glue. If you're interested, you can find an article on this build by visiting www.modellmarine.de (adding LCAC after the title). The article is in German, but there is the option to translate the text if needed.

Just a thought,

Paul

Sounds like there's a potential market for a resin update...
