For this campaign, enlisted members will build a modern armor kit based on this list OR add a kit outside this list however you are required to justify your reasons as to why you feel it should be on this list. Reasons such as:
Armor plating superiority?
Mobiltiy (ie: top speed and/or ease of turning)
Accuracy
Hull Design
You may build on these points as and where you feel its necessary.
To make this campaign slightly more unique compared to the TV program, I would like to focus more on more modern era tanks. As a guideline, all tanks after the 1970s will be acceptable. Tanks that were developed before 1970 but have since been enhanced and modified for modern use is also eligible for this campaign. The Rules and Regs - TANKS ONLY! This means all wheel and amphibious vehicles are excluded from this campaign
- Tanks in use after the 1970s are eligible. Any armor prior to this will not be eligible.
- The only exception to the above rule for vehicles developed before the 1970s would be the ones that were enhanced and improved and used after the 1970s.
- No Restrictions on brands or scale.
- Figures are optional but it does look prettier with them.
- ENJOY yourself otherwise what the heck are you doing here? :)
- Models can be OOTB or scratch built.
- Minimum of one photo of your build, 3 maximum.
- Starting the model on the start date is encouraged but not a criteria.
- Provide a short description on what methods were used in the construction. ( From construction to weathering techniques)
- Add a short history of the model being constructed. Contest Element Upon completion of this campaign, you will be decorated with Armorama's Greatest Ever ribbon. This ribbon is awarded to the selected few that has shown dedication and effort in completing a campaign that is dedicated to the modern armor engineering.
