Operational Overview
Starting just in time for the Northern Winter, let's all get into the right frame of mind and fit out our kits with SNOW SKIS. There has always been a need for operating aircraft and helicopters out of snow-affected areas, and people have always come up with a solution for getting them in the air. Let's see a few of them, and maybe come up with a few of our own.

The Rules and Regs
Any Scale, Any Nationality
What-If's ALLOWED for aircraft, camo and/or markings
Snow Skis ONLY (not sled-type skis for sand or salt flats)
Dioramas welcome but NOT essential, and I suppose they should be mostly white :)
NO abusing the Campaign Leader for enjoying a cold beer in the sun while the Northern Cousins are neck-deep in fluffy white stuff and suffering sub-zero temperatures

Contest Element
Campaign Entrants are welcome to complete more than one build, but only one ribbon will be awarded. A Campaign Gallery will be created to display pics of finished kits, and entrants are encouraged to post there, but it is not essential to post them there as long as they are posted in the Campaign Thread.
