Operational Overview
I think we all have a very soft spot in our heart for Porco Rosso. Not just the film but the era in which it is set. The golden age of the floatplane.

I would propose a campaign to build any aircraft seen in the film itself, or inspired by the style of the film. Most of the aircraft included are either outright true aircraft or very closely based on actual planes. It would be a bit of a departure from the usual straight-cut recreationism but would offer a chance for builders to be creative and cut loose a little.

The Rules and Regs
1) All entries must be a float-plane or sea-plane.
1a) Scratchbuilds and modifications to recreate aircraft from the film are encouraged.
2) no starting before the campaign and the model should be done at the end of the campaign.
3) Build logs and lots of posting are encouraged.
4) Stand alone or Dio's allowed.
5) Work in Progress Pics must be posted in the Official Campaign thread...
6) At least 2 Clear Pictures of the finished model must be posted in the Official Campaign Gallery to be awarded the Campaign Ribbon
7) all scales are welcome.
8) and last but not least enjoy yourself.

Contest Element
Only one award to be awarded per entrant. Each entrant may complete as many kits as they wish within the time-scale but only one ribbon will be awarded
