Since finding Pro Art Models and updating their releases recently I have been impressed with their release schedule, the two new items covered in this news release are no exception. Take a look inside at what Pro Art Models have released for the Modern Armour fan.
The first of the resin 1/35th scale items Pro Art Models have released is;
• PAU-35049 - US special forces vehicle communication set - €14.50
I by no means claim to be an expert in this field but it sure looks the part to me, and the cost is attractive as well.

The second release in 1/35th scale from Pro Art Models will be available from the 15th of November and is;
• PAU-35045 - Modern military & civilian backpacks (01) - €18.00
There are 10 different pieces of equipment supplied in this set and you get two of each for your hard earned cash.

Sadly ! the Kit as pictured here is deceiving! The SINCGARS VHF radios are not present in the kit ! Although pictured in the photo you have included and on the box art and online ! but again... PAU-35049 needs another kit sold by P.A. to complete this Radio suite ! a mere 50cents worth of Resin would have made this set "complete" and not caused any headaches !!! why is P.A. keeps on doing this ? The set pieces are exquisite don't get me wrong! but yet again this kit is incomplete as per the pictures P.A. keeps on using ! if its not in the box ? it shouldn't be on the box ! plain and simple !

If all of the communication items shown are not included, PA needs to specify that so that the buyer cam make accurate buying decisions. Their photo implies that SINCGARs are included.

The 'Warpig' conversion DOES NOT include any of the communications equipment. They provide a photo etch radio shelf and box for the radio to sit in but that is all. I guess in fairness to them they thought that people who purchase this conversion might already have radios and other bits in their stash. Had they included these items it would have bumped the cost up further and put people off. Having said that the initial marketing was very misleading, I am pleased to see that PA have made it a little clearer on their site now, but still there is no clear photo showing the kit contents laid out. One still has to rely on downloading the pdf instruction view to see whats included.

The War Pig in itself wasn't mentioned in our comments here! that's a totally different BEAST all together... PAU-35049 as it stands... shows the SINCGARS and all other Gizmos plus racks as one unit... but that is not the case. Modelers are always looking for useful "leftovers" in their kits.. adding the SINCGARS unit would not have jumped the kit price ! I don't understand why P.A. always take pictures for their product inter mixed with other P.A. products that are not present in the boxing they are selling...? I even have an extra "Pour" in my kit which isn't mentioned on the instructions and have no idea what it can be ? at it been the SINCGARS...that would have been Great ! but no such luck ! I have to buy yet another kit... just for that SINCGARS unit ! Oh Joy ! The parts are Awesome ! I just wish they Boxed it right and Picture the REAL Content of each Kit versus Blending it with other P.A. items Others have mentioned VOYAGER models.. well the same applies to them... very hard to know what you are getting in each kit...

Ah my bad, didn't realise its the comms set being discussed. Well anyway, yes the pictures are confusing and misleading.
