Looking on the bright side Henk it is a reasonable kit at a fair price.

I'm interested in the vehicle, so can someone more knowledgeable tell me what other kit makers are producing this platform? I thought I saw something from Panda and Hobby Boss, but the blizzard of new announcements that Darren is digging out from under affects us all. And BTW, great job, News Dept., in keeping up with all the new stuff coming out.

This kit has been out more than a few months now, since the summer. I wouldn't exactly call it "new". It is a pretty good kit and has been reviewed here at Armorama already by Oliver "Bison 126" Carneau. It is one of the latest versions of the M1151 UpArmored HMMWV. Bronco does a couple of the earlier version M1114 UpArmored HMMWV. One with original flat armored doors, and one with a higher level of armor with Frag 5 armored doors and extra parts such as Rhino and Duke anti-IED devices. Both have also been reviewed here by Mario "Mario_HR" Krajinovic. M1114 M1114 Heavy Armor Panda and Hobby Boss do not make HMMWVs. Panda has just released a descendant of the HMMWV though, the M-ATV. Kinetic also has an M-ATV in the works as well.

Gino pretty much wraps it all up.I've had one in a dio I'm working on since at least Sept. Darren,I don't think anyone's offended. It's just not new.I actually thought when I saw this that they had another new modern release. Tom PS.Yes your very right. It is very worth the money and a good kit.

Hey guys. I recently bought this kit, and will probably start when I'm finished building a Dakota (C-47) as a gift for my uncle (an ex-Parabat in the SADF). I'm just a bit confused as to something with this kit. The instructions state that with regard to the snorkel, there are two different options. One for the US Army and one for the USMC. But the decal instructions don't say anyting about what US unit the vehicle belongs to. I have seen the symbol on the doors and turret of a USMC vehicle. I want to make a US Army Humvee though. Any advice here guys?

Keigan you may be better off and thus more likely to get the answer you want by posing your question in a suitably titled forum post.

Thanks for pointing that out Darren. I'm still relatively new to this site.
