New items now available from Plus Models. Some always useful items, and even a cart.
Now available from Plus Models, some diorama details with German Optical equipment and U.S. Wooden C ration boxes. And then they unsual looking .30 Cal Browning mounted on a cart. Hopefully somebody can enlighten me as to the use of this cart?

It appears to be the mostly widely used of the US utility hand carts, the M3A4 model. The ribbed type tire would most likely be Firestone, but other brands and type have been observed, especially on different years and models. The modeller would be wise to research the time frame and type of cart before adding to a diorama. The US Army and Marines had varying types, and the early M3A4 looks a little different than later models too. It looks like a nice piece, would look good in a PTO setting!

Good to see the M3A4 handcart! Hopefully I'll have an easier time with this one than the one Masterpiece Models makes. For those seeking more info on these overlooked pieces of equipment, which would make a nice addition to a corner of a diorama, this site is a great place to start: LINK

Too bad on the ration boxes, their listed distributor doesn't even have them on their site as yet. So it doesn't look like they can ordered at the moment.
