A new announcement from Tasca has a big scale Jeep on the way, and all the way from Bantam.
Tasca has announced a new 1/24 scale kit on the way, being the American Bantam Reconnaissance Car. This looks to be a great looking big scale kit, and being from Tasca, should be well detailed. Unfortunately at this time there is no release date, but stay tuned to Armorama for updates.

It has got to be better than the FineMolds release.

I'm glad to see some thing in 1/24 scale. The Hasegawa supply of 1/24 scale kit's seems to be drying up. On the subject of Hasegawa what gives, not enough sales of 1/24 scale vehical kit's . Any thing new coming .

If you need the Hasegawa kit give me a shout.

Same here David, I've got dozens of both the Hasegawa and the Italeri versions. Of course, it should be no surprise that I find this release exciting. I do commend Tasca for going the Bantam route. A new release of the "standard" jeep, no matter how well done, might not have generated the same amount of interest. This will obviously be a very welcome addition to the 1/24 scale world. Bravo Tasca! Well done! Can't wait to buy a few. Jim Large Scale Armory

So, James... will we ever see your weapons and figure mannequins being sold commercially, or have you scrapped that project? Hisham

Hi Hisham, Far from scrapped. LSA is going full throttle at this point gearing up to launch. Every day we are producing pieces, finalizing kit contents and working on the photos for the website. All the production problems have finally been solved, new higher capacity molds made and the pieces are begining to accumulate rather quickly. One of the latest issues has been the kit contents. Breaking down the pieces of what we currently have into some large and many smaller kits has been quite a chore. So far, we are over 40 individual kits without even including everything we have. No way we can launch the company with that many to choose from so we are carefully selecting the first 10 or so to begin with. The others will simply have to be released as soon as we can, probably two or three every month. Basically we have more products than we can reasonably start the company with and still maintain excellent service. All work on future pieces has stopped while we concentrate on launching LSA with what we have. It's turned out to be a gigantic task but I think people will find it is worth the wait. Thanks for update, James. Maybe this Tasca Jeep will be the first 1/24 scale vehicle I use some of your items with! I wish you the best of luck with your launching. Hisham

Happy to see this new Tasca project. I think I could take the "know how" of my 1/35 Bantam PE products to develop some sets for him.

Hi Jordi, I'd love to see some of your work on a Bantam this size! Jim Large Scale Armory
