Bronco Models has sent Armorama news of a New Panzerkampfwagon II (2cm) Ausf J (Sd.Kfz. 121).
There is very little information about this new Panzerkampfwagon II (2cm) Ausf J (Sd.Kfz. 121) coming from Bronco Models, but knowing the amount of work they put into their models this should be a kit to watch for. The model is of course in 1/35th scale and I will update you on this model as soon as new information is released.

Beautiful vehicle to build but I bet the price is a bit much. ~ Jeff

Well, what do you know! Proof that dreaming without the tin-foil hat on may indeed result in wishes coming true! And this could be another of those grand two-fer deals - like that Pz. 1-F, where both Bronco and HobbyBoss stepped into the ring! Maybe HB will come out with one soon, too! It's always good to have choices, and two GOOD choices, even more so! I do suspect that this new B kit may be more than some (me) can quite so comfortably spend, given the current state of many wallets. My foil hat is still off! Bob

Now this is one that's going on my to-get list potentially. I'm not usually a fan of the prototype panzers per se but these 'steroid' versions of the Pz II and Pz I have always fascinated me.

Nice. Thanks for posting. Looking forward to further updates. Am curious how much more external detail Bronco has put it -- the Alan kit seems bare to me. As I have seen very few period pics am not too sure it that was really the case. Cheers, Tat

Don't know about the cost, but there are some reasonable images out there. Take a look at the the new Tankograd books on German Armour in the OZAK and German and Allied Armour in Yugoslavia and you'll find some excellent images of the Pz.II Ausf.J being used operationally by the German Ordungspolizei. Combine that with Bison's announcement of a set of decals for German Police Armoured vehicles later this year and you've got all the makings for potentially cracking vehicles and diaroma's. More power to their elbow!

Thanks Gary, I will have a look into that. The last I saw were a couple of pics from an eBay auction posted at ML. Cheers, Tat
