Manta Figurines has a new Paratrooper going on sale in 1/35th scale.

Manta Figurines has sent Armorama news of a new member of the U.S. 82nd Airborne a Paratrooper, Sainte-Mère-Eglise, Normandie, June 6th 1944. I like the look of this figure that Manta Figurines has released and I am sure he will be appreciated by our members. The figure is cast in resin and is 1/35th scale.

This figure of an American Paratrooper of the famous “All American” division, is created as a special tribute to those gallant American soldiers who jumped over Sainte-Mère-Eglise in the eve of june 6th 1944. He is heavily equipped to allow him fighting alone a strong and determined enemy. He wears the 1942 parachute trooper reinforced jacket and trousers (82nd’s Rigger made), with full bag canvas M-1936. He is armed with the US rifle M1 Garand and its M1 bayonet, a M3 knife fixed on his right Corcoran jumpboot, a Colt.45 M-1911A1, a machete 18” Blade M-1942, and, at least, one hand grenade Mk IIA1. He is equiped with the following gear : a pair of M-1936 combat suspenders with added felt shoulder pads, M-1942 first aid pouch or parachute first aid pack, M-1910 canteen cover, compass carrying case, three rigger made ammo pouches, a choice of two different entrenching tools, a shovel M-1910 with short hand grip or a pick-mattock M-1910. Like all D Day first wave American soldiers, this paratrooper carries the assault gazmask in a waterproofed container bag M7 . The M1C helmet shows the camouflage netting used in the 82nd AB, and full liner attachment system.
This figure is sold without the rifle strap.
