Two new figures in 1/35 scale have been announced by CMK, taking us to Hue City during the Vietnam War.
CMK has two new figures available from the Vietnam War era. The figures represent US Marines during the battle in Hue City. This looks to be great news for Vietnam fans, and from the images, they look to be well done figures.

F35-244 – US Marine Sergeant, Hue City Vietnam
F35-245 – US Marine Soldier with M60, Hue City Vietnam

I never really liked CMK figures, being sculpted with really weird anatomy and poses. These two, however, look good... I just wish the photos were bigger so we can see more details. Mario

No flak jacket on the Sergeant? I can't recall ever seeing photos of Marines in Hue without flak jackets.

No flak vest on a Marine in Hue, never saw that. They made sure the things they had was a flak vest and a protective mask ( they are not gas masks) along with a weapon, not much else.

Thanks for sharing Kevin, good news from CMK. For me it´s great that one Figure doesn´t wear a flack jacket. So this one can be used as Grunt on Patrol togehter with the Bravo-6 ones or any other maufacture. For the historical point of view it is surely wrong. Better would be to name the first one Standart Infantry Soldier or something like that. The other one with flack jacket seems a bit overloaded for city fight like BigDaddy mentiond. In compare with their last Figure set for Vietnam era some time ago this one is much much better done. Stefan
