The new Airfix 1/48 Quad Bikes are now in stock.
The twin pack Quad Bikes are available for purchase from their on line shop.

£14.99 gets you two quad bikes, two trailers and four multi-part figures.

Delivering vital combat supplies to troops on the ground, quad bikes and trailers are providing sterling service on frontline operations. This latest batch of Afghanistan-bound ATVs and trailers will deliver food, water and ammunition to the front line, in difficult to access areas or where larger vehicles are not suitable, effectively running alongside those who are on dismounted operations.

I agree.. I found it on e-bay for $55 plus shipping.. a little too much for such a small kit. I couldn't find their web site.. the old link I had says "site doesn't exist".. does anyone have a new link for MMK? Hisham

MMK does take on some unusual subjects. Glad there are some folks interested in moving on from Shermans, Tigers, P-51's and Spitfire (not that I do not have 5 of each myself). Bring on a historically accurate 2003 military ATV quad with the nav / radio / and quiet muffler add ons!

GIBBS Quadski looks like a soon to be military item...wonder if MMK would look at this for a future kit? http://www.military.com/video/off-duty/autos/high-speed-amphibious-watercraft/3580306465001/

Thank you as always for the excellent reference photos my friend! These photos that you posted are for the British Quad. I am wondering what references you may have for the two scout ATV quads used at Takur Ghar in March 2002 during the Roberts Ridge event? From the books I have read, these had additional modifications for sound as well as navigational aides? Thanks for all your good references and help!
