2 New Releases from WW2

Bronco Models has sent Armorama news of two new products that will be available in August. These 2 items are a 75mm Pack Howitzer and a Panzerbefehlswagon 35 (T).

These two new August releases from Bronco Models should appeal to the fans of armour and artillery of World War 2. One of these models further extends Bronco Models offerings of British Airborne troops in the form of a 75mm Pack Howitzer M1A1 (British Airborne Version) and Gun Crew. The gun crew will consist of 5 new figures it would appear, and makes for a reasonable sized diorama item. The second release is the Panzerbefehlswagon 35 (T) on which I cannot provide any details at this time. Both of these offerings are in 1/35th scale.

I'm suprised that no-one has yet worked out that selling Denison Smock patterned material on decal film would be a profitable move. We've already had most of the German patterns and some modern US patterns so the principle has already been established as workable. This issue contains all the British modifications specific to airborne use of the 75mm Pack Howitzer - don't forget that the Vision Models kit had the howitzer in it's original form

And here I almost punched "send" on getting that first Bronco 35(t) kit! The BFW version calls loudly - I wonder whether the interior addresses the good stuff that would have made this version functionally different. Looks like the antenna is present (yay!), but maybe we'll need to bring in the jerrycans from elsewhere... they were often seen on these much as on the "normal" tanks.

It will be interesting to see close-up sprue shots to see how Bronco has engineered the box trail components to do the interior details within the legs, and also mold the distictive weld seam. Vision did a good job on the interiors, but forgot the welds - good thing for Archer's details!
