Dragon brings back their acclaimed M1A2 SEP with V2 enhancements!
Dragon has announced the return of their much-prized 1:35 Abrams M1A2 SEP, with the latest "V2" enhancements. It is on the Dragon USA website under the ID of DRA3556.

In Dragon's own words:
"Dragon previously fielded an M1A2 SEP tank kit in 1/35 scale, but it has now undergone its own System Enhanced Program! The result is this spectacular M1A2 SEP V2 kit that possesses many completely new parts such as the CROWS II weapon station, new commander’s cupola and the Loader’s Armored Gun Shield II for his hatch. There’s a rear-mounted tank-infantry phone, plus an FBCB2 system and a DUKE electronic countermeasure system installed in the bustle rack."

According to Dragon Model USA this new kit should be available in November 2014.

Perfect Scale Modellbau has a resin parts set that does all the heavy lifting for converting the M1A1 AIM to USMC. The results are pretty good IMO.

Yep I have this kit it's very nice the decal options aren't as great as its base kit once was though echelon will fix this basicly it's the old SEP kit minus the metal barrel I'm quite happy with it the only let down is the absence of the feed Shute for the RWS but it's only a small detail. Cheers Ben.

Good to know thanks for the updates Ben. I am waiting on Jason to get back to me on a order I placed with him and will get the update and echelon from him. Dragon kits should arrive in the post tomorrow. Also planning a few bits from mouse house to round out the Aussie version. Already have the etch and tracks sitting there. Cheers, Gav
