Four new decal sets have just been released by Echelon Covering numerous different armour markings from Stalingrad, Vietnam and Iraq.
Several eras and theatres of conflict are covered by these new 1/35th decal sheets from Echelon

the manufacturers item codes and details are as follows:

AXT351027 - 24th Pz. Div. Panzer IIIs - Battle of Stalingrad:

The Leaping Horseman, otherwise known as the 24th PD, the cavalry divsion that was decimated at Stalingrad in 1943. The divisional markings are meticulously captured from various image references (directly from the panzers) such that they remain as authentic as possible even in 1/35. So are the stylings of turret numbers, etc.

Often, a number of references indicated that the divisional symbol was yellow. However upon careful scrutiny, it is very likely that the majority of the symbol painted on the panzers and other vehicles looked white instead. This is especially obvious on panzers with non-white tactical numbers (yellow) where the balkankreuz and dvisional sign stood out boldly than the tactical numbers. The yellow versions of the signs are also provided in the set, just in case.

Both specific and generic turret numbers are included. The various symbols are usable on other vehicle types as well as they looked pretty standard with very little variations.

D356015 - ISAF Generic Markings & Decals:

Generic ISAF decals and markings can often seen a multitude of vehicles serving in Afghanistan. Also included are unique markings for a M1151 Humvee.

D356168 - 11-4 Cav M113A1 in Vietnam:

Markings for a specific M113A1 from the 11-4 Cav that saw action in Vietnam. Images of it can be found in various Vietnam war references.

D356182 - 101st Airborne Humvees in Iraq:

Covering markings for 3 101st AB units that saw action in Iraq (OIF): 327th, 187th and 506th. Prominently displayed are the unit's adopted markings, some of which are also applicable on other vehicle types fielded by each unit.

Also included are the first time ever miniature car window flag decals that you place from the inside of the vehicle against the windows. It is reverse printed on the decal sheet - you just need to slide it off onto the front windscreen of your Humvee model from the inside (not outside).

Armorama would like to thank Echelon for the update.

I'm glad someone is finally doing markings for the Humvees of Outlaw platoon, however the skull should be in army green instead of black. The platoon was referred to as the green skulls by the enemy. The book is awesome, highly recommended. There are some pics of the markings on the Outlaw platoon facebook page.
