Sweeet! That M39 buries that Academy M39 AUV for sure. Another Crab alternative is good too (note that it's the Mk I with the oval linked chains -- the Mk II was utilized more in the field. It had the "bicycle" type chains to decrease the tangling. The Mk II was the more common combat version)

The crab conversion looks great, but I have no knowledge of what to expect from Legends Products and want to add this to my list for next year. Any insight as what quality, extra work and what to expect? Thanks! Jeff

I have two or three Legend conversions in the stash. They look ot be realy good. Instructions aren't the best so they'd be for a bit more advanced builder.

Greetings all, Thanks for the head up JIm. The flail looks great. Roy thanks for the info about different Mks. Would the Mk I have been used by the Canadians? With deep wading trunks I can see a home for this in the distant future. Merry Christmas folks. Cheers Al

Usually when I see news items I think that things look interesting, but that my stash is big enough already. I have to say though, when I saw the crab conversion my jaw dropped and I said "Wow!". It looks fab and I have to get back to the bench to finish some projects and make space for this. Sean

My Son was stationed in Korea some time ago and got me one of these kits. I assume this is the same kit. The photo seems to fall in line with the one I had. I immediately went to work on it. The instructions were horrible. I relied on folks from the Armor Forum to assist my efforts and a great deal of research. It is very expensive and not for the faint of heart. I have their conversion kit for the Churchill which I will start on some day. They come up with nice ideas, but they desperately need someone to write their instruction sheets..... DJ
