Dragon Models have announced two new 1/35th scale figure sets. Curiously enough, one is part of their continuing 'Premium Edition' program, the other, a welcome addition to their Generation Two series...

Beginning with their Premium Edition announcement:

DRA 6308 - Panzergrenadiers , Arnhem 1944







This is a reworking of a previous set with the inclusion of such items as Gen2 weapons and PE for rifle slings/rank badges etc. DRA6308 is listed for release in February.

The second release is doubly welcome being a NEW Generation Two set and serving as the perfect complement for their M2 Half-Track:

DRA 6366 - US Armored Infantry (Gen 2)



This new, four-figure, set will be particularly welcomed due to the relative dearth of (Modern) figure sets for U.S. Infantry. The set should provide a good deal of flexibility as it will follow their previously established 'Multi-Pose' allowing for maximum variation. It's also to be hoped that more U.S. sets are under consideration - particularly heavy weapons teams! The new set is scheduled for release in March 2007.
