Bronco has sent Armorama news of their latest product news. The news unusually for Bor Bronco only consists of one new offering, a WWII German Assault Gun Sturmgeschütz III Ausf E (SdKfz 142).
This model has some interesting features, something that Bronco models does well at. This is the first model I can recall seeing from them that has a turned metal barrel option in the box. There is a good quantity of photo etched parts offered; the tracks are a workable option, something that is becoming the norm for Bronco Models. From what I can see in the content images this looks very promising.

Plus with just a couple of small mods and a new gun we could see a Ausf F .

Two things: on another website the kit is to be released "February 2016", that's clearly passed, so I hope the release is soon; &, can this be used as a StuG in Africa?

No as they where ausf d and then a handful of ausf f-8 in tunisia

Thanks, Wayneo. I did read some where that there was an effort to mount the 15cm sIG in a StuG, too. Anyone know about this, please? Also, there

Fat fingers. Star decals have a sheet covering options for this, too.

Hey, Matt! You know, I think that there are other manufacturers that are bent on driving nails into DRAGON's coffin, as well. Sad... DRAGON USED TO BE a really great model manufacturer; but they only have themselves to blame, not that they give much of a damn, anyway- They seem to be concentrating their priorities in the vastly more profitable Toy Market...

Might you possibly be thinking of the StuH.42, which which mounted a 10.5cm light howitzer, not a sIG.33 15cm gun? (DRAGON makes this- I don't have a kit # handy at the moment) The sIG.33 WAS mounted in a Pz.III Chassis as an Assault Gun- sIG.33 auf Fgst.Pz.III (Sfl.), which DRAGON makes as kit# 6713. As to a sIG.33 being mounted in a proper StuG.III, I don't remember ever seeing one...

Metal tow cable is basically a given for most manufacturers nowadays.
