Assault Models released a new figure in 1/35 scale... a modern British Para armed with L7A2.

AM35013 - Paratrooper, the Parachute Regiment of the British Army, 2015

The figure is sculpted by Dmitri Shevtsov. The kit contains 10 pieces cast in resin. Knowing the work of Assault Models, I presume the companion British Para figure will be released soon as well.
