AK Interactive has announced a product that can convert any acrylic paint into a washable medium.
Adding 10% of AK236 Washable Agent to acrylic paint makes it washable.

After applying the mixture to the model, the desired quantity may be removed with a brush moistened in water. This product is recommended for creating winter whitewash or dust effects. It may also be used to depict a color finish of lesser quality such as chipped, faded paint as in a sandy desert camouflage painted over a vehicle’s original colors. Very convincing results may be achieved as it is based on the same principle as real paint.

The possibilities are endless as AK236 Washable Agent may be used with any acrylic color.

Although I have not finished a model with them, I have done a little testing with the AMMO of MIG washable colors. I liked the results, but the re are only 3 colors, white, sand, and dust, so I felt the uses were rather limited, but this should solve the problem, and I will be looking forward to trying it!

There is a washable black now by the way - only came out a few months ago. Useful for darkening the other colors. Good idea from AK - I'll be getting some as have liked the AMMO washables.

Why such a massive container when the mixture you're supposed to make is only 10% agent?

I am a little confused the posting says it can convert any acrylic paint into a washable medium. Then it says there are only 3 colors (make that 4 with the black) so does it work with any acrylic ? Also does it work with Tamiya acrylics ?

that 4 washable colors is in Ammo range, the new medium is AK and in theory can make any acrylics washable,in theory becose they speak about AK acrylics not other brands but i guess work with all waterbased paints like Life color,Vallejo,Ammo,Humbrol ecc...Tamiya and other alcool based i dont think but maybe...
