SP Designs has produced a new conversion for turning a BMP-1 into an AMB-S armoured ambulance.
The AMB-S was a Czechoslovakian variant of the BMP-1, removing the turret and with a built-up troop compartment and room for 4 stretchers.

A number of these vehicles were supplied to the Syrian Army, and put in service with the Republican Guard.

The conversion is intended for the BMP-1 Trumpeter kit, and replaces the whole upper hull and rear plate with resin ones.
