Details on what comes in the box for parts is limited at this point, but judging from the looks of this model's preview at the recent Shizuoka Model Exposition and from the quality of Flyhawl Model's previous braille scale releases, there is high hopes for the New M1A2SEP Main Battle Tank.

Thought I would throw up a little teaser. I am working my way through a personal review of the kit right now...but what I am finding out is nothing shy of the standard Flyhawk high quality inside the box! Details are crisp...assembly is straight forward and simple. The bustle rack needs a shift in gearing of your patience....only because the parts are tiny and delicate...but not impossible, even with my sausage fingers! I think most will like the antiskid on this one! For those keen-eyed folks that noticed, as I did after taking the shot, the photo etch protection plate on the top of the mantlet plate is skewed...fixing it now! LOL My personal thoughts right now, while in the middle of my review, I am going to give this one some high marks!

Todd, That looks very nice. The tough decision for some of us will be; should I take the 1/72 plunge with old eyeballs or hope that Flyhawk drops a 1/35 surprise on us! Cheers, Rick

looks outstanding, I'm interested in what the wheels and tracks look like.

nice one! Todd, what about that small pe part on top of the turret close to the mantlet? not fixed?

Rick, we can hope! I have been saying that about them doing 1/350 kits fr a while now! John.... The wheels are clean! The attachment points are minimal...so much that with sharp snips, virtually nothing is left when cut! Roman...oh it was set...LOL I use a combination of PVA and CA when attaching PE. Te PVA takes a bit longer to set up as you know. In my quick fumbling to take a shot I must have moved it. Only after the pic was uploaded did I notice as I put it all in a box for the night! Braille scale - 1....Big fingers - 0

Nice!

Sorry John...forgot about the tracks. Interesting design and practical in this scale. Two-piece full mold... These are actually not facing each other correctly for construction, but I think you get the jist! The end links look decent and the assembly with the wheels is fairly straight forward. There are no epms and minor attachment points on the inside that may or may not need cleanup, as the sprue are located inside.

Very interesting design, I will be watching to see what you think about how the assembly goes.
