Previously announced, Sol Models has now released its 1/16 kit of this light German tank.
Lightly armored and mounting two 7.92mm MG13 machine guns as main armament, the Pz.Kpfw. I was intended only as a training vehicle. It however saw combat during the civil war in Spain, Sino-Japanese War, and World War II. The Ausf. B was an improvement of the previous version being fitted with a more powerful engine and featured a longer chassis as well.

Sol Model’s Pz.Kpfw. 1 Ausf.B (MM229) is offered as a 1/16 resin kit. The kit also contains photo-etched components and a decal sheet for a variety of finishing options.

Background information on the vehicle sourced from Wikipedia.

For that money I wouldn't expect less than 100% accuracy,no need to add a single rivet, complete interior and "tropical" options!

I've checked the parts and it's a lot of dough for such a kit!For US$551 (yes..I know that's a HUGE amount of money for many modellers!) you can have a Trumpeter 1/16 PzKpw IV bought cheap from China PLUS a botload of resin goodies by David Parker! If you decide to keep the engine hatches shut you'd have a hell of a kit for US$ 368,with FULL fighting compartment and turret! Thanks Sol but...no,thanks!

Dang, for that price I'd expect it to at least be Radio-Controlled!
