Trumpeter shares further information on its recently released kit.
The S-300 is a series of long range surface to air missile systems developed during the Soviet era. First deployed in 1979, numerous versions have since been developed that used different missiles and capitalized on better radar and countermeasure technologies.

Trumpeter’s 48N6E of 5P85S TEL S-300PMU SA-10 Grumble (01038) features details such as a full drive train, engine, transmission, differential housing, and suspension units. Containing over 1,000 parts, the kit also provides photo-etched details, clear parts, rubber tires, decal sheet, and a copper cable. As built, the model stands at 378.4mm in length and 90mm in width.

Great. Now I have to find yet more room in my Soviet Stash. Looks like an opportunity fro the AM guys to make some missiles for this

So many variants of this MAZ chassis coming out maybe I could start a small business - a chassis building service for these vehicles so other modelers can focus on the body building. (Have already done this for one friend plus built three of my own!) It truly is a good time to be a plastic scale modeler!

Looks like another ugly though fascinating addition to the stash! Gotta love that big, cumbersome Soviet-era stuff!
