Up for release this December is an upgrade set from MR Modellbau to build an M3 Lee as used in Burma. Here we see a pre-production sample used on the Takom kit.
M3 Burma Lee (MR-35595). The set will include items such as stowage equipment, tent rolls, ammunition crates, steel plates, fuel / water canisters, to name a few. A new hatch will also be included, as well the antenna base and extension rod for the front antenna.

Additionally, expect a few more upgrade sets for the M3 Lee to be released as well. Watch this space for updates.

Never thought of a M3 in Burma.

M3s were very successful in Burma. Britain shipped many Grants and Lees from North Africa to the CBI Theater, and mos tof the Lees had the machine gun cupola removed. Stowage was unique, and this set looks authentic.
