Up next from Canfora Publishing is its first volume of a three part series on Soviet and Russian armor and military vehicles in the last 100 hundred years since 1917.
From the publisher: Undoubtedly our most ambitious project to this date, this volume describes the tanks and armoured vehicles paraded by the Red Army on Red Square from the first anniversary of the Russian Revolution in November 1918 until after the end of the war in both Europe and Japan in 1945. From the first captured French and British origin tanks displayed on Red Square, via the first Soviet KS tank to the wartime T-34, KV and IS tanks, the volume describes the first public appearance of all Red Army tanks and other military vehicles displayed on Red Square and the background philosophy involved in their respective developments.

The Red Army on Parade 1917-1945, 100 Years of Soviet and Russian Military Parades 1917-2017 - Volume 1 by James Kinnear. This first volume focuses on the industrialization of the Soviet Union and the growth of the Soviet Red Army, aided by the import of technology and manufacturing capability from the United States and Europe, from foreign companies such as Caterpillar, Ford, FIAT and Vickers.

Published as a hardbound edition, this volume contains more than 500 photographs spread over 256 pages. It is currently offered at a special pre-order price, with shipping to commence in late January 2018.

In progress is the second volume, The Soviet Army On Parade 1946-1991 due to be out by Spring 2018.
