    What nationality?

What do you mean by that? These are modern day generic ratchet straps seen and used world-wide. Pretty much standard items used everywhere.

These are amazing but the detail makes me squeamish if it's in PE and I have to bend and form it. Tool clasps are enough for me.

I can't bend these tiny PE pieces either. That is why I prefer Djiti Productions resin ratchet straps. They are very easy to use, just add the strap out of lead foil or tape.

Indeed, resin things are ready to use while metal items look very complicated to build.

A guy from this very site, Cory Sutton, sent me a set of these many years ago. They work great. Of course, like most PE, you have to anneal it. As for bending, they're not unlike those PE Israeli gun mounts from back in the day, a little tricky at first, but ya gotta work smarter, not harder. I use shim stock (I have varying thicknesses) to bend these around. Works like a dream. You can also use feeler gauges, stacked no. 11 blades, whatever gives you the thickness you need.

Gino, where do you purchase yours? Seems they're direct from Djiti for $5 shipping, or OOS at their US dealer, Dragon-Hobby.com.

I usually just find them on eBay.
