ACE have announced the release of a plastic kit of the ADGZ (Fu) - Radio version of heavy Austrian armored car in 1/72scale.
The kit - 72262 ADGZ (Fu) - M 35 Mittleren Panzerwagen consists of 5 plastic sprues and a set of Decals.

The ADGZ Armored Car was first produced in 1935 and entered service with the Austrian Army. After the Anschluss some saw service with Waffen SS Units.

Vehicles were also used by German police battalions (the markings shown on the box art are for one of these) and of course by the Austrian Army before 1939. At least two vehicles in Austrian use were in multicolor camouflage and I've seen a photo of at least one captured vehicle in Russian service. Even though it's not my favorite scale I'm going to have to break down and get at least one of these. -dave h-

Great vehicle! Now I'm secretly hoping ACE is going to release some (pre) WW2 DAF vehicles once as well...
