Skp have announced the release of two sets of resin idler wheels for the Hetzer in 1:35 Scale.

Not being an expert on the Hetzer I don’t know whether they are early, late or intermediate? If any member knows please tell me and I’ll post the info here.

Both sets: SKP 062 Idler Wheels for Hetzer and SKP 063 Idler Wheels for Hetzer cost 3.49 EUR + Postage and Packaging.

Pat, According to Osprey New Vanguard: Jagdpanzer 38 "Hetzer", the flat plate idler with six holes preceded the idler with six holes and stamped ribs. it doesn't mention a flate plate idler with four holes. The final model idler was a smooth dish with four holes. Hope that helps.

Not an expert either, but it appears that both of these idlers have a flat profile, but they should be slightly dished? Its hard to see from the photos as they are laying flat, but the CAD drawings give no indication of being dished.

The ribbed ones are the late type seen on the Starr Hetzer and some other lates. The flat 4 hole idler is correct and can be seen on middle hetzers from Skoda. There are some pictures of the Concord Battle of the Bulge of this type. The Eduard Hetzers have a variety of styles of Idlers in their kits. Chris
