It has been a while since I have seen anything new from Concord Publications These new titles should have widespread interest amongst Armor modellers...
Two new titles have been announced from Concord Publications. Both are concerned with modern armor.

The first: In Concord's extensive 'Mini Color Series', is 7512 - Rolling Steel: NATO's Self-Propelled Guns Written by Carl Shutze and Walter Böhm, this 48 page book contains 125 color photos, 4 color plates and 1/35th scale plans.

Only four vehicles are featured in this guide which are as follows:

British AS90
U.S. M109a6 (Paladin)
German PzH 2000
French GCT Auf-1

It seems that 4 featured vehicles may not seem much, however, all of these vehicles are available in kit form and more references are always welcome. Hopefully this will be the first in a continuing series....

The second release from Concord is volume 30 in Concord's Special Ops series:

5530 Special Ops: Coalition Forces in Iraq # 2

This 'special' contains 64 pages, 205 photographs and is written by Carl Shulze and Yves Debay. The topics covered in the book are as follows:

4th Infantry Division
Stryker Brigade
1st Armored Division
The Convoy Routes
Multinational Division - South-east

Perhaps of more interest than the first title, this book promises to be particularly useful regarding the 'field' modifications found on many Coalition vehicles in Iraq. Also, ANY documentation on 'Stryker' is more than welcome...

Both of these books will be available from your usual retailer. More information (including sample pages) can be found on Concord's website...
