Bronco Model have just published the box-art for their latest Variant of the A13.
CB35027 - A13 Cruiser Tank Mk. IV.

The latest variant should be available from MAY. We ran this as a W.I.P. some while ago, now though it's getting close to release. The difference between this and the earlier version, is this will include seperate tracklinks.

There is also a NEW Track-link Set:

AB3516 individual track link set for A13 CT Mk.III.

The new set includes 240 pieces (120 per side). Photos of the new set can be seen at the side. The new Trackset set will NOT be workable, but should be easier to assemble!

Our thanks to Bronco Model for the update!

It would be nice if these tracks were available for free or at delivery cost to all those who brought the first release and have proof of purchase( thats if there the same trackset of course) also the price of their kits has gone up hugely, $82.00 Australian and thats up from$45.00 so I"ll give it a miss i think, this is my opinion of course, cheers Bob.

Hi GT 351, where did you get the pricing from? Just checked the price of the first Bronco A13 at LuckyModel.com and not including post it was priced at $43 AUD. I fully expect the price to go up due to the inclusion of the indy tracks but an additional $39 seems a bit steep. Cheers, TimTam27

That's good news about the tracks, I hope there are sufficient links to allow for the sage seen on these vehicles. On the price, yes these seem to be getting out of control. Al

I hope those tracks will be priced reasonably, their Comet tracks are a whopping 24 Euros in France!!! Cheers, Christophe

Hi Christpoher, that's just a total rip off. I have a set for the Comet but I can't remember what they cost I got them a good while ago. I looked at their Allied weapons set and it simply was not good value for money, one spue at £4.64 I bought a set of Tamiya Infantry with figures and 2 equipment spurs for less. Their Comet tracks are shown in Hannant's for £15.41 making the total cost of the kit with tracks £44.76p plus postage. Then add the Gun mantle at £4.88 and you'r talking over $50.00 for a plastic kit that should have come complete with everything for about £35.00 max. You might say that's OK if the Comet was perfect but it still needs work done on it. Add a figure and some stowage and I bet you'd be over the £70.00 mark Plastic track costing over £10.00 is just a rip off I thnk, £8.00 to £10.00 would be much more realistic IMHO. My thoughts anyway. Al

If Bronco had any business or ethical sense they would mail a free set of these tracks to anyone who sends them the UPC code from their A13 kit box. Academy did it with their M3 Lee bogies and it went a LONG way in restoring customer confidence. Considering that the Lee could be completed with the parts in the box and the A13 can not, Bronco owes this to their customers.

I agree completely. A car or appliance manufacturer wouldn't dream of stiffing the consumer this way,so why should a hobby enthusiast endure this? Same for DML and their short hull T-34 disaster kit. Not a peep from them. Not even an apology or acknowledgement of error. Really shabby crap PR. Rick

Hi Rick, i'd agree very poor PR on Bronco's part. I got a set of replacement suspension units from Academy, and it did offset the initial error, in fact the Grant was one of the most interesting builds I've done. I'm delight to see this kit but the price is pttiing me off, add to that the original tracks issue and I'll probably pass for now to see if it becomes available at a more realistic price. Al

I'm not sure if Bronco will address the track problems with the original release, but the new track link set just showed up at LuckyModels at the whopping price of $7.99 plus $2.99 for shipping for those interested. It certainly would be nice if Bronco handled the problem the way Academy did, but then it could have been MRC bringing about that action, and not Academy itself, since they are the US importers, left with egg on their faces, and probably a large stock of unsold kits sitting around. Remember the original replacement parts were for the original US customers only at first.
