SKP Model have just sent us News of two very useful releases in 1/35th scale.
Recently, I published a News Report on some of the company's recent releases and was fortunate enough to have some of the items to hand - being able to give a 'Mini-review' at the same time. Once again, i'm able to comment on the second of these releases.

Beginning with the new track set, a few words of explanation. This is a relatively new initive from the company. The tracks DO click together very easily and the moulding is frankly superlative. I don't know the process that they're using, whatever it is (bearing in mind these are Resin) manages to avoid ANY cleaning-up in the construction phase.

SKP 076 - Clickable tracks for Hetzer (early)13.49 EUR + Postage and Packaging

Moving onto the wheelset:

SKP103 - British Wheels 10.50-16 (5 pieces) 6.40 EUR + Postage and Packaging

The set includes the seperate attachment bolts which go though the inner-rim. Casting, is, once again, superlative. The tread pattern is absolutely spot-on and can be used for a wide variety of vehicles such as Austins or Bedfords.

Now, all we need, is the REST of the Bedford!

My thanks to SKP Model (LINK) for the Update!

The wheels and tyres look great shame they didn't put as much effort into those included in the Austin Tilly kit which were pretty poor Martyn

Hi Alan The Tilly wheels weren't great...the lightening holes look oversize and are the wrong shape and the resin had run into the holes considerably. The black resin they used was awful. Maybe I got a bad set but if so then Terry at PMMS did as well. These however look great but didn't I hear they were shelving the Bedford due to IBG announcing one...or is the other way around? Whoever does make one I hope they get a move on its about time we got some new British/Commonwealth softskins Their figures look really nice too might have to try them..and the price is spot on at less than a fiver! PS; I've just reviewed the SKP and Tamiya Tillys for Tracklink they should hopefully be posted soon
