Jim, with this release and the recent release of the M1A1 155mm, the M41 is a matter of a box and maybe 1 special sprue. The M19 might be two special sprues but would give them parts for the M42 Duster. Thus without much more work they get 3 more new kits. I am glad to hear Bronco may be listening. Rounds Complete!!

This really is great news! Been waiting for this to happen for a long time! I'm just wondering about adding the DML figures. I always thought they are working with Miniart so I would have expected them to add one of the new Miniart sets... In any case, always good to have an extra goodie! Cheers! Stefan

Hello! I'm new here and just returning to hobby after some 10 years break. I'm currently building Italeri Chaffee but I'm also excited about this new model! One thing I'm not sure is accurate are radiator vents immediately behind the turret ring. They should be slatted vents but use of PE suggest the kit replicate Italeri's kit fault. I'm not sure form the available pictures. What do you think?

I love that Bronco chose to go the route, and it seems pretty clear that I'm not the only one who feels this way

On Perth I noticed AFV Club has a Chaffee in the works as well. Is it another empty promise? Tom

Checking Armorama's News Section you'd see the same. Although this particular thread is anout BRONCO's release, there is another thread connected with the AFV Club announcements. Also, checking through the many links to photos from the recent Japanese Trade Show, you'd see images of the sprues from AFV Club.

[/quote] Whilst I am all for mould maximisation the M42 Duster has little in common with the M24 as it is based on the M41 walker Bulldog Chassis and not the M24 Chaffee. The M19 SPAAG uses the same Dual 40 MM tub as the later Duster so that would be some of the parts done but they would need a whole new chassis etc for an M42. I'm pretty happy with the base M24 and hope they do some later ones (Korea, Vietnam, Phillipines etc. Well done Bronco
