Dave O' Meara neatly combines a News Story and a Review in this interesting report.

Revell (U.S.A.) announced the release of the re-issue of Renwel's 1/32nd scale classic kit of the Atomic Cannon a few months ago.
Well I'm happy to announce that this kit that was commanding outrageous prices for not only the original issue, but also for the last re-issue in the History Makers Series, has hit the hobby shops shelves at a much more realistic price.

Since the molds come from the 1958, don't expect the latest in molding technology, but my example shows little to no flash and comes molded in typical light grey plastic this time around.

This is a huge kit when finished, so be prepared to clean off the work bench when building it. Here's a link to Paul Gaertner, who scratchbuilt an outstanding 1/72 scale Atomic Cannon, and has plans for sale in various scales;

Comments

Despite the age of this product and quickly overlooking the figures, this kit does not look that bad. Thank you for the information.
