Introduction

BRAVO-6 added 12th kit to dynamic posed Army Infantry series-Rumble in Jungle. B6-35323 U.S. Army Inf.(12) Medic is another two-figure kit including two U.S. Infantry soldiers ; a wounded soldier and another asking for help.
Review

The kit comes well packed in standard light brown cardboard box labeled with a photo of the assembled and painted figures by Vladimir Demchenko, also the sculptor. Bodies and other small parts of the figures like arms, rifles and field gear are seperately inserted into small plastic zip-lock bags and lumped inside a larger one.

Figures come in medium grey resin parts with casting blocks. Resin quality is good and details are crisp. No air bubbles or casting mistakes. They will be ready to paint with a very little cleanwork on the arms and rifles.

Figure-A is posed kneeling and calling Medic for help as Figure-B lies on the ground after getting shot in the head.

  • Both figures wear standard U.S. Vietnam War infantry tropical jungle uniform of jacket with two chest and two lower bellows pockets - all with flap covers, trousers with two rear and two bellows cargo pockets on both sides and canvas-leather combined Vibram jungle boots. Trotters are inserted into the boots. H-harness, Pistol belt and M-16 ammo pouches on both sides are cast on the figures.. Body poses and proportions, wrinkles and folds on uniforms, pockets and other details are all well defined.

  • Facial details and expressions are well represented. Figure-A’s head is given as a seperate part with an open mouth to call Medic for help. Figure-B’s face nicely reflects his pain and panic.

  • Arms of the Figure-A are sculpted in upfolded sleeves and show nice cloth folds. Right arm is posed to hold his helmet and left arm is posed to hold the rifle. Figure-B’s arms are posed to hold his head showing he got a head shot.

  • They carry M16A1 rifle defined in clean and crisp details. Left hand of the kneeling figure is cast on the forestock of rifle. Muzzles are fragile parts and need extra care when removing from casting block.

  • A field gear sprue is supplied for each figure and includes 2 1 Qt canteen in canvas cover and 2 M7 bayonet in M8A1 scabbard.

  • M1 Helmet with Mitchell pattern camo canvas cover and helmet strap.

  • A water-slide decal sheet with different types of insignia, ranks and nametags is given as in all Rumble in Jungle kits.
    Conclusion

Another impressive kit sculpted in great details and cast in high quality. It can be used together with all Rumble in Jungle series figures for a bigger scenes.
  • SUMMARY
Another useful two figure kit for Vietnam dioramas in BRAVO*6 high quality. Wounded figures always bring realism to action scenes.
