Vehicle history:
The C2 not a simple update of the leopard 1a5, but a combination of 2 tank design's. Essentially, the Leopard c2's are refurbished Leopard c1 hulls fitted with refurbished and upgraded German Leopard 1a5 turrets.

The Maple Leaf Models conversion kit is designed to be used with the revell of germany kit of the leopard1a5, kit#03028. The master of the leopard c2 was created by the talented Jim Carswell. The conversion kit consist's of 36 tan resin pieces and 1 of alluminum mesh! The overall quality appears to be up the same high standard's of there earlier Leopard c1 conversion kit! The resin casting's are very sharp and well detailed. Also included are 5 color sheet's of instruction's, with numerous actual photo's of in service c2's.
My kit was purchased from Paul Fredenburg at Trackjam Model's. The kit cost 55.00 CDN plus shipping. The conversion kit can be purchased directly from Maple Leaf Models or from Trackjam!

Overall a very nice conversion of a rare version of the venerable Leopard! A recommended buy!!!!!!!
