Hi John

Resicast have a good selection of medics in their Airborne Range.

What would be really handy would be a kneeling medic in Battle Dress. With alternative infantry and Para heads, Equipment would be 37 pattern belt, hand held water bottle and over the shoulder would be the medical haversack.

Rational. In the Para selection he has a stretcher partty, individual Para stretcher bearer and 2 wounded soldiers, plus the Para Medic Jeep. The wounded are in BD and can therefore be used as Paras or Infantry but the medics are all Paras, so a medic in BD could be used by either Genre and compliment the wounded soldiers.

Result: extremely useful and generic figure, offers an alternative to the recent MB set or compliments it if you choose, and keeps the infantry foot sloggers happy too. Plus it would be a first of it's kind in the infantry side of life.

Good review Alan. I suppose you could substitute a piat or some other piece of equipment for the stretcher if you wanted.

Yes, if you didn't want a stretcher bearer then you could switch equipment. His left arm however, has the outline of the arm band for the medics red cross, but he could be carrying anything.

Hey guys,
Just a thought, 1st Airborne Division probably had a section of their Provost Company at Arnhem.
The brassard on the arm could be used for an MP's.

Hi John,

That's possible. They must have had their own Regimental Police too.

He'll suit my purposed as a stretcher bearer, but he looks to have the right stance to be carrying a Vickers MG too.

I've just spent a really enjoyable day painting him up. I'm really pleased with the result so far. Some dust on his boots and a little more facial work and he will be about done. I should have some really small red crosses somewhere for the haversack and his left arm with a bit of luck.
