.............just curious as to what other Canadian's are up to.
I've just finished building a very old Tamiya kit........ a Panzer II F that's been of the shelf for ever................ detailed with the Eduard photoetch kit and some further mods/details to satisfy my creative side. Priming has been done and the first coats of desert yellow applied. So far, everything is proceeding decently........... outside of the airbrush acting up a bit.............. or it could be just the rusty old operator !!! I'll try and post up some pictures.....................
Wouldn't mind seeing what everyone else is up to..............

Well nothing as ambitious as Paul's build

but here is what I have on the work table:
DML JSU-152 for our club "Korea" theme build
DML M4A4 "Orange box" as either a BCD or a Calgary Regt tank
DML 251/17 that is almost done

The Panzer II is coming along............ gave her that worn look with some German tank grey to look like the desert yellow has worn off. Need to add a bit more chipping details to the desert yellow.............. then it's time to apply some washes.............. bit of rust. Then start the little base ................ and she'll be done. Likely finish painting the 20mm Flak gun I have sitting with the same sort of finish and get her done as well.
I'm actually itching to move onto something else................ the Panzer II has been a fun little project that grew beyond just an out of the box exercise. I think next will be.................. a T34 I've had on the shelf for a long while.
AND........... have to get onto the shelf build project to place these finished projects on as well.

Mainly Alanger's T-35, but I've also got Tamiya's Universal Carrier on the go, Dragons Bedspring T-34, and Dragon's Marder IIIm. When I finish one of these, I'll start the Bronco Canadian Staghound.

Panzer II is done. Moved onto a Russian SU-85 and finished it as well. The SU-85 is mounted on a base and I'm considering adding a figure to the finished product. Hmmmmm...
Anyways, currently working on a 1/16th scale Tamiya WWII German car that someone else started........ I pulled apart and re-built their work and now am finishing it.
I'll see if I can pull out some pictures (finally) and post up.

Awesome Terri..............
Pictures of my recently completed SU-85.... straight out of the box..... the old Tamiya kit. Leaves a lot to be desired compared to the newer kits now available (especially the tracks), but it was a really fun build............... for me anyways!! Got to mess with some new weathering techniques.
Let me know what you think...........

Tom,
Nicely done!
I'm working on the Old DML Jagdpanzer IV L/48, added atak zimm, an armorscale barrel, replaced the molded on handles with wire, and will probably add replacement tracks.
I am almost finished an Italeri Staghound and a DML M2 Halftrack. Both just need a few little things done. I hope to get some pictures taken soon. I always have a problem posting here though

......well, sat down for around 1/2 an hour last night to put a few more parts on the 1/16th scale Tamiya German Kubelwagen. Build is going super slow........ time has not been on my side to sit down and get it done. Some pictures coming shortly.
Also already thinking about the next project I want to do. I think I'm going to dive into something Canadian from WWII. The time has come as it's something I've always wanted to do. I think it will be a Sherman..........

Well, just joined this site today... found it googling for a way to create canvas cover which is missing from my FAMO 18t halftrack from Tamiya. Beautiful model but no canvas cover??? anyway found an answer here using tissue paper and white glue.. go figure lol.
back into scale modeling after 40+ years.. and working on the FAMO 18t , tamiya JSU-152 (also great), Dragon T34/85, Trupeter LMV (old model but godd practice) which has some fit issues.
Love this site and looking for a Club in my area..
