Hey guys, I am building the 1/35th ICM Stude US6 cargo truck, and was hoping someone could steer me towards some references of the Hercules engine for detailing. For that matter ANY photo refs of this truck would help a lot...!

Thanks for readin,

Laurie,

A few sites I found from a web search:

Studebaker / Reo US6 2 1/2 Ton 6x6 Cargo Truck on OLIVE DRAB

Studebaker US6 U3, 2.5-ton, 6x6, Cargo Truck on Engines of the Red Army

Studebaker US6-62, US6-48, US6x4-62, US6x4-48 on Oldtimer Gallery

Hope this helps. I can check with my dad tomorrow to see if he may have some photos, especially of the engine.

Hi Laurie

Here are some pics of the Hercules JXD engine from the M8 Greyhound TM.
Even if there are some differences with the variant fitted to the US6, they may be of some help :

These two walkarounds from Dishmodels.ru may be worth a look too (even though there's no engine pics )

These two pics from the US6 Russian TM should be more helpful than those in my previous post :

I've also found some restored US6 engine pics. Just PM me your email adress and I'll send them to you.
