Super review, Jan! I will keep my eye out for this kit as it looks like something I could handle. It's also nice to see a unique Allied vehicle among all the German ones that seem to predominate this scale. I also am grateful for reviews like this that point out all the pitfalls that might arise during the build. But, did you really need to add the partial interior? Is the interior really that visible through the turret? Just mindless wondering. BTW, I love reviews with lots of good pictures.

Regards,
AJ

I appreciate the comments that people leave as they can give me ambition and incentive to try more of them. I must say that this kit really was a learning experience as I have never run into a situation where the instructions were messed up to such an extent. Thanks again for posting.

AJB - I guess that it's all a matter of personal taste. I have plans to enter this one in a show at some point and often the judges notice little extras. To answer your questions more directly, yes one can make out parts of the interior through the open top of the turret. I suppose that one could just paint the interior black or something but as I stated above, it was a personal thing, Part of it was also because of a couple of photos I saw looking into the turret from above. The lighter colour interior was evident as was the drive shaft.

Cheers,
Jan
