Alan McNeilly takes a look at a new release from Master Box, Hand to hand fighting, British and German Infantry, a five figure set in 1/35.

Thanks for a useful review.
Master Box really impresses me with their figuresets.
As the review says, it is extremely difficult to make "action" with figures (in dioramas), so it could be interesting to see how this set would look like when build.

Nice to see some soldiers in yellow shorts too

Thanks again

Thanks for the review Alan. Mistakes in British webbing are dissapointing as it is so easy to research and original items are available at a fraction of the cost of german gear. If anyone from Masterbox is reading please look at karkee web for free reference.

Oh Nooo!! Not more allied figures!!! I want more pointing Germans!!
Seems like a long time since we saw the images of this set "in progress". Its a pity there are simple mistakes that could have improved the overall quality ... Maybe its time Master Box worked with somebody who knows their equipment and get these points correct!
I like action scenes ... but I doubt IŽd show them as posed here ... but theres loads of conversion possibilities. Thanks Alan.

Alan- nice review. Like Frank I too thought it had been a long time since we saw 'in progress' shots so its nice to see what is actually in the box!
Obviously the detail problems are annoying but I think this set has some potential.
